Requires a: CHILD WELFARE PROGRAM SUPERVISOR (INVESTIGATION/ASSESSMENT AND ONGOING) Full-time Management Position in Kirkland Lake The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical and administrative duties of a delegated Child Welfare team. You will optimize our child protection services and ensure all processes and procedures comply with current legislation, Ministry guidelines and child protection policies. You will have comprehensive clinical knowledge of social work theories, principles and practices and supervisory success in a child welfare environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS): ?Master of Social Work degree or related field in Human Services, with a minimum three years of experience working in children’s/human services. Baccalaureate in Social Work or related field in Human Services may be considered. ?Experience in program development, evaluation and research and child development. ?Thorough knowledge of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA) and Regulations, Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services Ontario Child Protection Standards and practical experience with the Ontario Risk Assessment Model. ?Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with community partners and stakeholders. ?Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred. ?Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. ?Must have a valid driver’s license and use of own vehicle.
